2014 Los Altos Art and Wine Weekend
This weekend (July 12-13) downtown Los Altos transforms into one of the largest two-day summer events in the Bay Area. The 35th Annual Los Altos Art and Wine Festival showcases the works of hundreds of artists and craftspeople from over a dozen states. If you’ve never been to this event, it is worth the effort to come!
There are activities for all ages. There is free music and entertainment on one of the three stages. Children can enjoy a large selection of rides, activities and entertainment in the FunZone. Saturday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. there will be a special concert performed by Sage, a rhythm and blues, funk and soul band. Closing out Sunday (4:30 -6:00) will be The Houserockers, a rock and soul band. Adults can quench their thirst with a cool margarita, a cold frosty microbrew or a glass of wine from one of 6 local wineries – Naumann Vineyards, Domenico Winery, Ferwood Cellers, Martin Ranch Winery, Page Mill Winery and Thomas Fogarty Winery.
Proceeds from the Los Altos Arts and Wine Festival support year-round programs of the Los Altos Village Association. These programs support local businesses and provide residents with community oriented activities that involve local organizations, nonprofit groups, schools and the seniors of Los Altos.
This year my office at Coldwell Banker is a Sommelier Sponsor. I will be volunteering at the Naumann Vineyards booth located at the corner of 2nd and state streets – facing San Antonio Road. See map below
As with every year I volunteer at the Los Altos Art and Wine Festival, all my clients, past and present, should stop by from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and allow me the opportunity to treat you to a glass from Naumann Vineyards.
