I received a phone call a few weeks ago from some very good clients of mine. They would like to sell their home. Since I have helped them buy and sell 3 homes in Sunnyvale, as well as advise them on the purchase of a large parcel in upstate New York, I was their man. I am honored to help yet sad to see them move.
The home is situated on the outside bend of the street where Greenwich Avenue and Orange Avenue meet. For all intense and purposes, it is a cul-de-sac lot which makes the back yard extraordinarily large.
The home itself is somewhat typical for the neighborhood. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home of slightly more than 1200 s.f. It has a nice living room/dining room and a spacious kitchen. The kitchen is not the long and narrow “galley style” kitchen but rather it is a large separate space that the new homeowner is likely to remodel. The home has been updated over the years, but nothing is brand new.
My sellers have done a lot of work to the home, having recently replaced the water heater, moved the furnace into the attic, added solar photovoltaic panels (they really don’t have an electric bill), and installed double paned windows. Prior to putting the home on the market my sellers painted the interior of the home, installed carpeting over the hardwood floors and installed new linoleum in the kitchen.
Lastly, children living in this home would attend Cumberland Elementary, Sunnyvale Middle and Homestead High school. (please verify attendance with school district).
I really like this home and think it has a lot to offer. It will be on tomorrow’s Broker’s tour and open this weekend (5/11/13 – 5/12/13) from 1:30 -4:30. I hope you’ll stop buy or tell a friend about it!
