Many real estate agents and their buyers use Google Street Views to preview real estate prior to visiting it. For you “off street” enthusiasts, Google has mounted a tricycle with it’s Street View camera and is looking for off road sites worthy of showcasing. So far they have collected imagery of Legoland in Southern California, San Diego State University, the Santa Monica Pier and the Monterey Bay Bike Trail.
If you have a favorite “off street” location that you think is worth exploring, you can make submissions here.
I submitted a recommendation for the Street Views trike to visit Rancho San Antonio. Can you see Google’s cyclist climbing up the PG&E trail? On the other-hand maybe walking the trike will work as well.
