It Was a Glorious Fourth of July at Shoup Park

The Los Altos Community Foundation Presented is Los Altos – Los Altos Hills Independence Day Celebration this morning at Shoup Park.  The festivities began at 10:30 a.m. and continued until 2:00 p.m.

Ye Olde Towne Band played patriotic music and there were numerous speakers.  New this year was the dunk tank where kids young and old got the opportunity to get others wet.  It was quite a hit!  Other activities included face painting, a petting zoo, balloon art, and guessing jars (guess the amount of jelly belly’s and you get to keep the jar of treats).

Based on the attendance and the amount of smiles, the glorious Fourth of July was a fabulous success.
