With Budget Cuts Looming, What Do Los Altos School District Parents Want?
Given the anticipated budget cuts within the Los Altos School District, the Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) sent out a parent survey to get parent feedback regarding school funding issues.
The survey asks district parents for imput regarding the budget cuts, which programs to save as well as thoughts about teacher furlough days. Over 1900 parents responded to LAEF’s survey, which is a little over 65% of the district’s families.
As a real estate professional, the results confirm my belief that the quality of the education provided by schools within the Los Altos School District heavily influence parents’ decision to move to Los Altos.
