Los Altos Hills Real Estate Market Update – September 2010
Los Altos Hills currently has 73 single family homes for sale. Fifty-nine of these homes are active listings, the remaining 14 homes are under contract. Seven homes closed escrow in September.
One high end Los Altos Hills home (10+ million dollars) received an offer and now is under contract. Two homes priced in the mid three million range went into contract and the remaining properties under contract are priced under 2.5 million.
Lastly, three of the Los Altos Hills properties that are under contract are short sale properties, where the debt owed on the property is higher than the market value of the home. It will be interesting to see if these short sale properties actually close escrow.
