Los Altos Real Estate Market Update – October 2010
Los Altos currently has 82 single family homes for sale. Thirty-nine of these homes are active listings (two are short sale properties), 24 are sale pending where all the contingencies have been removed, 15 are sale pending and are going through the buyers due-diligence process and 4 are sale pending subject to the buyers selling their property. Thirty-four homes closed escrow in October.
Lastly, two of the Los Altos properties that are under contract are short sale properties, where the debt owed on the property is higher than the market value of the home. It will be interesting to see if these short sale properties actually close escrow.
