What do first time home buyers want in a home? Is it location? Is it space? Is it floor plan? Is it amenities?
Coldwell Banker recently surveyed new first time home buyers and found out their number one requirement in purchasing a home was its condition. The home had to be a move-in ready home. This makes a lot of sense given that most first time home buyers don’t have a lot of cash lying around to make immediate repairs or modifications to their new home.
Second on the list was that first time home buyers wanted the home to be located near shops and services.
Third – first time home buyers wanted to live near their place of employment.
