It’s Wednesday June 11th, the last day of school for kids in the Los Altos School District. My kids officially will be on summer break by noon today. As we look forward to a busy summer of play, work and a couple of short vacations, I leave you with a video and a story about my brother’s graduation ceremony from high school.
For his graduation from Awalt High School (now Mountain View High), my brother and some of his friends set up a “High Fidelity” music system in his upstairs bedroom. You see, my parent’s home backs up to the field at Mountain View High School. From our roof, one has a view of all the fields.
The plan was to blast the following song during the graduation ceremony. Unfortunately, local law enforement authorities got wind of the plan and shut it down two days before the graduation ceremony. It sure would have been interesting to hear those 15 plus speakers blasting this song during the graduation ceremony. Have a great summer, I know I will.
Hey, it’s the seventies! Enjoy!
