Lets face it, today’s home buyers are concerned with the walkability of their future home.  They prefer to live in neighborhoods that are near work, shopping, parks and schools.  Younger buyers as well as those downsizing want to be able to walk to most everything.  That is why a home’s walkscore is so important.

According to the Walkscore website, “Walk Score can help you find a walkable place to live by measuring how easy it is to live a car-lite lifestyle, not how pretty the area is for walking. The score ranges from 0 (completely car-dependent) to 100 (walker’s paradise).”
