This weekend downtown Los Altos transforms into one of the largest two-day summer events in the Bay Area. The 39th Annual Los Altos Art and Wine Festival showcases the works of over 280 artists and craftspeople from over a dozen states.
If you’ve never been to this event, it is well worth the effort to come! There are fun activities for all ages. There are three stages of music and entertainment, a huge Funzone for the kids, and food and beverages for all. Saturday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. there will be a special concert performed by Long Train Runnin’, a Doobie Brothers tribute band.
In addition to endless shopping, adults can quench their thirst with a cool margarita, a cold frosty microbrew or a glass of wine from one of the 6 local wineries.
Proceeds from the Los Altos Arts and Wine Festival support year-round programs of the Los Altos Village Association. These programs support local businesses and provide residents with community oriented activities that involve local organizations, nonprofit groups, schools and the seniors of Los Altos.
Tips on making your visit to the Los Altos Art and Wine Festival more enjoyable:
This year, Sereno Group is the presenting Sponsor. I will be volunteering at the Byington Vineyard and Winery booth located at the corner of 3rd and Main streets. As with every year I volunteer at the Los Altos Art and Wine Festival, all my clients, past and present, should stop by from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday (7/14) and allow me the opportunity to treat you to some Byington wine. Click Wine Flyer for Art & Wine Festival to see the wines that Byington will be pouring. Click to Learn more about the wines Flyer.
