This week’s Friday Broker tour of new listings for the Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View market was relatively light. There were 32 homes on tour in Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos hills. 23 of these were new listings, 9 were re-tours or homes re-listed with new brokerage houses. Below is what I thought were the best of the group: Note, I was not able to view every home on tour, so I may have missed other homes that were good. Of the homes that I personally visited, these were the homes that I liked the best.
731 Vera Cruz Avenue, Los Altos. This is a fabulous 5 bedroom 4+ bath new construction Craftsman style home built by James Witt. It is listed at $3,595,000 and has a large 16k+ lot. The listing agent is John Forsyth James of APR.
22548 Ravensbury Avenue in Los Altos Hills. This is a fairly original 3 bedroom 4+ bath home located on a great lot that overlooks Rancho San Antonio. This house has a ton of potential, but is somewhat difficult to get to. If I had a lot of money, I would love to buy this and rebuild it into a somewhat modern construction single level home that would take advantage of the western views of the Black Mountains and Rancho San Antonio. At $2,995,000, I’m not sure that it would pencil out, but it sure would be fun giving it a try. This home is listed by Denise Dito of APR.
1735 Cherrytree Lane in Mountain View. This is a great little 3 bedroom , 2 bath Dickman built home located in one of the best neighborhoods of Mountain View that feeds into Los Altos Schools (specifically Springer Elementary). It is the same footprint as the home I had listed earlier in the year on Orangetree. It is listed at $1,248,000 by Elaine Klemm of APR.
1401 Gilmore Street in Mountain View. This is a nice, but small 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in the Los Altos School District. I like this neighborhood, but the lots tend to be very small and border on useless. It is listed at $999,000 and is listed by Olga Mintz of Intero Real Estate Services.
2329 Thompson Court in Mountain View’s Monta Loma neighborhood. This is a nicely remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a great cul-de-sac location. It is listed at $899,000 by Bert Oey of APR.
201 Ada Avenue #35 in Mountain View’s Village Oak II complex. This is a nicely redone 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit with an attached 2-car garage. This is a nice complex and nice unit. It is listed at $749,000 by Royce Cablayan of Coldwell Banker.
938 Clark avenue #32 in Mountain View’s Oak Park Complex. It is located in one of the few complexes located west of El Camino Real in Mountain View. This is a nice 2 bedroom, 1 bath top floor unit with an over-sized 1-car garage. It is listed at $498,000 by Chuck Lane of Coldwell Banker. By the way, I will be holding this open on Sunday June 22 from 1:30- 4:30. Come by and see me.
